Finishing up the support mods on my Corvette (FSD, PP etc...) and i'm planning the route I want to go weapon wise. I'm 99.9% PVE so non pvp loadouts needed. I've been around the block and I'm most comfortable staying pretty traditional with a laser/mc loadout.

I'll either being doing:

Option A:
2 Huge MC's
1 Large Beam or Pulse
2 Med MC's
2 Small Beam or Pulse

Option B:
2 Huge MC's
1 Large MC
2 Med Beam or Pulse
2 Small Beam or Pulse

First off...can't decide which one of those two is better for both bounty hunting and CZ's.

But the main question is. From an overall damage point, which would you choose. Overcharged Pulses or Sturdy Mount Beams?

*really neither option should be much of a thermal or cap issue with the mods I have.

On my vette (which is built for CZ) I have 1 large and 2 medium bursts with the special effect that causes malfunctions when you get hull strikes and 2 small turreted regen beams. Im planning on getting corrosive shell on overcharged C4 multi cannons

On my Anaconda I have one huge and 1 large pulse along with 2 small beams. I have the mod where the cause extra heat damage, but on an AI, it's tough to tell if it works. For my mc's I have a large and medium with incendiary, and a large and medium corrosive. The 4 of them do some NASTY damage. The thermal load between all those weapons is quite large, however.

Forgot to add that the lasers have efficient mods, and the mc's are overcharged.

So you do you have an upgraded Distributor as well? If not, probably could go with overcharged pulses too ya?

I do, but only the grade 1. I tried the overcharged, but the gimballed targetting drift was awful, and the thermal load was worse. The damage boost did not outweigh those cons. That being said, a grade 3 mod may be more effective.

I running 2 huge pulse with OC and 4 OC mc and 1 lg frag. How do I tell what my max dps is with the OC mods?

If you select your weapons in the outfitting screen, you should be able to see all of its stats. They will change as you modify them.
