So now we are being blocked from asking questions on the live stream if it's not what FDev want to hear?

the other paying customers should be standing behind me (or better yet in front of me) with pitchforks and torches asking why FDev just handed them a turd sandwich instead of of settling in for Story Time and trying to enjoy it with a glass of warm milk.

But they all don't, so don't expect praise validation or support for deliberate disruptive behavior.
It is just the kind of behavior one sees in the people who think they are entitled to smugly abuse and belittle retail staff over in the supermarket for the price of milk.

I don’t expect praise or need validation.
Id characterize it more as berating the dairy farmer who is knowingly selling sour milk unfit for consumption...but your way does put FDev in that innocent doe-eyed victim role a white knight would rather see.

Well it wasnt the Farmer on the live stream.
I don't see how considering behaviors that is deliberately disruptive to other paying customers as disruptive and childish as white knighting.
Poor behavior is poor behavior.

Being a paying customer does not mean you own the employees and can treat them how you chose
Being a paying customer does not mean you have the right to hijack or disrupt a stream for other paying customers when it is not on your chosen topic.

With most of the game played stored on a players PC, how could one fit all of that on a std computer? In order to have a PTS, wouldn't we need a central server in the first place?

What makes you think I betrayed FDev? I continue to chat with the devs daily. I provide them with public links to player feedback that they often don't see with their busy Community Management schedule.

Given the current situation that sounds like you're poisoning them. 😜

it's also not fair to those of us who paid for the game and would like to play. I guess if Frontier wants to ignore the dumpster fire and concentrate instead of the pretty new color they painted the dumpster, we should respect that.

Maybe if they put all the fluff on hold and put on an "all hands" effort to deal with the disaster at hand, we'd take them seriously.

Even though the bugs haven't impacted me as much as others, I totally hear your frustration.

I also agree with others that this particular stream wasn't a great place to bring up the bugs you wish to talk about...

But I'd also like to say that seeing as so many customers would like to provide feedback on the issues they are encountering, it would make sense for Frontier to invite those passionate customers to a "feedback session."

But are the topics you send links to chosen in a completely unbiased way, or just those you might 'agree broadly' with? The massive variety of opinions/topics being raised would keep a CM occupied without doing anything bar reading...

Whatever I feel is important and/or interesting, irrespective of whether I agree with the feedback or not.

I'm sure you understand why I asked, with a few 'influencers' wishing to represent 'the community' it would be far too easy to be selective in one's choice of material.

Thanks for the frank response :)
I don't claim to speak for anyone (well, except the /r/EliteDangerous modteam on appropriate moderation matters) nor would I wish to.

Assuming you're referring to the Community Requests Letter, I put my name to that (and provided a few amendments) because I think the three key areas - return of open betas, a permanent test server, and regular reports on bug fix progress - are important subject matters that I've seen regularly discussed or implied towards ("why wasn't there a beta?"), and agree that they would offer benefits that far outweigh the detriments (e.g. test server costs).

What I find disturbing is Frontier's absolute silence on the latest GAME BREAKING patch. Twenty four hours later and not a peep from them. The livestream might not have been the place to address this, but the official forum surely is.
