Drake class? Nautilus class? Fortune class? Victory class?
Nautilus class is the one that seems to me more like a science/exploration vessel. Love the start trekkish front, and overal the front half is very well done. However, it has my least favorite rear half. Has overall my favorite front half. Rear is a bit too flat and a bit bland on top, and the lower appendages look like space testicles. Engine layout is the least cool of all IMO. Looks longer than the others.
Fortune class has a more utilitarian / industrial feel. Balanced looks, the front is a bit flat, but love those light beams. Also has my favorite control tower, on the back and to the side, looks like an aircraft carrier. The engine layout is nice, the back half overall is perhaps the coolest IMO. The underbelly is balanced, not over the top. If the front was a bit more like the Nautilus, this would be my favorite choice hands down.
Victory class seems the most military looking of all. This has the coolest engine layout IMO and overall all of the back half is very nice. I like the control tower position, although not as much as in the Fortune class. The vertical hammerhead front is also very cool. The underbelly is also balanced, not spectacular but not over the top either. Overall it has the most aggressive looks of all.
The default Drake class, is slick, not over the top, a bit thin and not spectacular, but overall very nice indeed. I like the rear control tower and the antennas. Not the best looking at anything in particular, but still looks quite nice lines, and has no glaring visual flaws.
The carrier livery selection screen is a bit buggy, so the Drake pics are showing incorrectly "Fortune Class Carrier", but it's actually the Drake.
Nautilus has my favorite front, but my least favorite rear. Fortune has my favorite rear, and my least favorite front (wish I could mix the two). Victory sits between the two, my second favorite front, my second favorite rear. Most likely I'll end up sticking with the Nautilus, ifm anything because of it's sciency feel.
So what is your personal favorite and why?
