The carrier livery selection screen is a bit buggy, so the Drake pics are showing incorrectly "Fortune Class Carrier", but it's actually the Drake.

Drake, because it is the one mine will be until I either earn enough ARX ingame or a definite commitment to VR in Elite is stated.
Don't like the front on the Nautilus, generally not a fan on the flippers but apart from them the Fortune looks slick.

If I could mix/match I'd take Victury thruster, Nautilus top, Fortune front, no flippers and not sure on the bottom.

Hi :)

Nautilus would be my preferred Carrier, I have the credits but I'm not tempted to buy one...yet.
Saving my cash for 'hopefully' new ships / content in Odyssey.

Jack :)

I Like the Nautilus style carrier and am debating whether to purchase one, I am at Diso and they seem to have the Drake class..

Where do I go to find the nautilus class? I've tried googling the answer but nothing useful is coming help... anyone help?

Since I was Ninja'd :giggle: Here are my thoughts on the classes:
Victory - my favorite for the reasons mentioned by the OP.
Nautilus - The front sphere is too small in proportion to the rest of the body.
Fortune - This was my least favorite, but the air craft carrier theme is growing on me.
Drake - the engines are worst on this one. They look bolted on in a rushed, clippy way that I hate.

ah, so, purchase the drake class and then change the look in the ARX store.... err.. you need to spend real life money to change the appearance..? that seems a bit... bleurgh

You don't have to spend money. Some players have tens of thousands of ARX because they've been saving up.

I went with the Victory class purely because it has the best looking backside in the game. I’m not especially enamoured with any of the front aspects. The Deputy Dawg face on the Fortune class is a total no-no for me and the bubble head is both too bubbly and yet not bubbly enough. So it was ol’ Axe face for me.....though if any more come out I’d be happy to have a look.

Of course I’m feeling dirty yet again for heading straight into the livery section and throwing cash around. I blame lockdown and a lack of social interaction from keeping me in the straight and narrow.

The Fortune is my carrier. The rear half (particularly the engines, which have a 40K vibe) sold it to me.
I'm not so sold on the front end, I'd prefer a front like the nautilus, but overall I'm happy with the Fortune class.

Victory! It seems to go well with most PJs.

Was ready to prefer the Nautilus, but it's Imperial allegiance and looking a bit like a squashed turtle put me off. Fortune is my 2nd favourite - the shop pics make it look worse than it is.

Edit: I bet fdev are making a packet off all the ARX :)

That paint job looks amazing. Which one is it?

My thoughts on:

Drake class - looks like it used to be some mega ship, then split in two, welded carrier part in the middle and done. Front part itself looks even nice but then ends like a fish's cut head. Engines looks OK, compact. Just it doesn't "play" as a whole.

Fortune class - bulky, sturdy and tough like a pack of nails. This comes to mind first when I look at this one. Engines are cool looking while head part reminds me FatBoy - experimental tier mobile artilery unit from Supreme Commander. Generally Fortune looks like FatBoy that went to space.

Nautilus class - nice looking bulb head that fits nicely to the carrier part behind. Rear underside part is... interesting. Lots of parts and construction that look they are hanging. Engine part is ok-ish, due to down slope being the main motiff it feels like there's something missing on top. Front mountet "bridge" section is also nice.

Victory class - c'mon, Hammerhead corvette from SW all the way. The most balanced build, save for the massive head part which makes it massively top heavy. Engines are nice looking, underside is not overbuilt. But that head...

If I was to pick one it would be ... Nautilus.
Despite Fortune has better looking engines and Victory being more overall balanced in shape (minus head), Nautilus is a frame to go for me. Bit lacking in the rear part (flat end with downward slope) and whole bunch of stuff underneath but generally, for me, it's the best looking one.
