So . . . . Type 8 eh?

Poor Type 7 Transporter, inferior in every possible way to the Type 8, forever relegated to the status of an inferior ship, never to be purchased, never to be used, never to be loved, destined to obsolescence, destined to be forgotten, destined to rust or to be sold to be scrapped.

Rest in peace, forgotten and underappreciated.
It is still a good bulk passenger bus. As a freighter it has always only been a stepping stone on the way to the T9.

Maybe it can form a support group with the Asp Scout …

Hey, I like the Type-7. It's more fun to fly than the Type-9.

I am fully aware of my weirdness, but the T7 is one of my favourite ships.
In fact, in terms of how many I own, it only comes second to the Cutter 🤭

Perhaps. It wouldn't surprise me if the T8 ends up having relatively low jump range when fully optimized for cargo transport, that's for sure. If not just not great at jumping in the first place, but we'll have to see the stats when it's out there for players to poke at. Probably when the PII becomes available for credits... I'd guess, anyway.
~40ly unladen iirc

I have plans to buy one and build a nigh impossible to destroy combat ship in the spirit of the SFB (Starfleet Battles) Auxiliary Battleship, with railguns and something not yet decided on.

Careful for every Carmania you are likely to get the Jervis Bay and Rawalpindi

It's Ricardo...
He plays for fun, so does things that are not always "efficient" but normally enjoyable to watch.
What does this have to do with guns?
All right, he put the purifier not in the second slot, it can be written off that he did not miner enough. But occupying the 7th slot with a universal drone is out of line.
The 7th slot is 128 tons, the 6th is 64, and the 5th is 32.
Collectors only come in 7,5,3,1 .... I don't believe he didn't do it on purpose !

By the way I finally saw from him, speed on boost with dirty engines, although without secondary.
486 m/s I thought it would be over 500 ...

I'm disappointed with its speed :( I'll have to compare its payload capacity to the Python. Maybe this ship is not worth buying either ? At least for ARXs :(

It is a good versatile ship. A lot more cersatile than the Python MK II. But no ship is worth ARX for FOMO access. The prebuilt ones are a bit of a different story.....for new players getting a quickstart. As a seasoned player I rather wait for the ship to be fully released for credits and then kit it to my liking.
