So, what are the exciting E3 announcements?

Assassins Creed: Syndicate. Seriously. No multiplayer, total single player, horse and carrige jacking. It looks droolworthy.
Mad Max (what we all wanted Elite to be, with cars). I haven't been this excited by a video game since I accidentally smeared one in coffee and ate it.
Absolutely nothing to get excited about with regards to Elite though, not for many here. A CQC arena based game with ships is not immersive, it's basically world of tanks in space and it will detract from the strength of the Elite franchise. There are also other games that do that much better.

So no new annoucnement on elite expected? it was just about the xbox exclusive content ?

You missed nothing. Sony E3 was... well, it was lacking to say the least. The only noteworthy announcement from them was Final Fantasy 7 remake which looked more like a reboot than a remake from the trailer and what they were saying. Hope it's just a fresh lick of paint and voice actors with the same combat. They can keep their nuwave crap to later titles. Other than that just some new info on games that are but aren't cancelled(Guardian thingy that's been in development for years), Uncharted 4 and that's about it. Oh, they've got their own streaming service too.
Bethsda: Fallout 4 and a new DOOM.
Microsoft: Hololens looks amazing, Elite Dangerous on XBone complete with exclusive CQC module(.....) to kick off XBone's version of STEAM Early Access(lol), a bunch of new IPs, backwards compatibility for XBone and some exclusives for XBone and Windows 10. Oh, and pirates. Awesome, awesome pirates.
EA: Bunch of useless sports crap no one who watches E3 cares about. Battlefront 3(Looks like a reskinned BF4 tbh), EA Access for XBone and some games like Need for Speed.
That's about it.
As far as we know that's the only news SO FAR. There is still a few days to go.
Edit: Nope - just another roller-coaster game. Good thing NMS is coming to the PC now.

Big E3 Announcement
Maybe I should have put a question mark in the title, I feel like such a troll.
No I don't know what the big E3 announcement ala Michael Brookes is. I just want to know if anyone knows when we will know? I don't want to be a hardcore gamer and watch the entire E3 and download schedules etc. Actually I do, but I can't.
But I am really interested.
So can we use this thread to keep track of this upcoming revelation?

I was disappointed that FD didn't make an appearance in the Microsoft conference to show-off anything, but a trailer for the Close Quarter Combat for the Xbox players. But in 3 hours we will have the PC Conference, so hopefully they will announce something there.
But, with Powerplay still needing some work AND the CQC-Xbox announcement I am really doubtful it will be anything big or interesting.
When No Man's Sky is out, I don't see myself playing ED again (as it currently stands).
Theres still more from Frontier supposed to be released today, I'm guessing during the PC Gaming show at 0200 Zulu(UTC). It's not just the Xbox announcement, from what I understand.
