So... What is the Most profitable work in Elite?

You know i am 700+ hours this game gamer myself but i am mostly combat oriented.
I am lazy and i don't even go to nav beacons. Just simple Hazardous RES.
I am earning about 2 million in single run (about 20 or 30 mins).
I think... it is cheap... I want something more...
Wat can give me better profit in game?
But without cheating in Robigo. Without going online offline online offline until head goes round...
I want pure fair game!
What should i do to get rich? :)

I think slaves trading in a cutter is the easiest and pretty lucrative (once you have the Cutter)
You can also do HRES BH with the full PP bonus. Less easy because you have to maintain rank 5 for Hudson or Lavigny and BH. I'm not sure it makes as much money as slaves trading but it is still fairly decent.
There are probably better ways nowadays but I stopped making cash a long time ago so I'm not up to date.

Hmm cutter i just have Boron rank.
But i have Federal Corvette.

Can you give more info about slave trading?

If you go to Cubeo and kinda semi grind out the Imperial missions (they are fun but can get repetitive). You will make Hundreds of millions doing so and if you couldn't afford a Cutter before, you will afford one upon completion. I'm afraid you will have to log off and switch modes to stack the missions. Once you have a Cutter money flows incredibly fast.

I have spent the last few weeks grinding out a Cutter and Corvette and managed to A grade both, thanks to the Cutter's ability to rake in profits. Oh and managed to get Trade rank Elite in a couple of days.

Scavenging

Profit sell-cost/cost x 100

Everything you sell cost nothing so your profit is infinite

same with Piracy

Trading biowaste has a 600% profit which is one of the best profit margins you can get

This is what 4hrs of Haz Rez should look like, if youre maximizing bonuses.

If your profits dont look like that after 4hrs, two pieces of advice.

1) Rank 5 with a faction that gives 100% bounty bonus
2) K warrant scanner (which also gets the 100% faction bonus)

When you have these two things, you can take the standard payout and multiply if by 4. So if taking out a Conda pays 250k, you will actually make closer to 1 million with all the bonuses.

Thanks for advice. Only i don't want to grind 5th rank. Ia have work and wife.
What combat ship you have for this?

After a few hundred ground assault runs against Metcalf Keep I found the idea of sticking an ice-pick in my eye more palatable. :) I'm still only 70% into Count.. a bit yet to go before a Cutter is in sight. The cash isn't bad... 100mil in the bank and bumped up my Conda upgrades a good bit from earnings. But still.. grinding totally kills my motivation.

I just wish there were a way to effectively raise rep in a -fun- way without having to repeat grind. If I wanted to do a repetitive task, I could work in a factory building widgets. The pay may be dirt low, but the earnings would be tangible as far as real life was concerned. ;P

Tossing a few beers down while rep grinding seems to help the time pass less painfully.

What combat ship you have for this?

I used a Corvette. Getting to rank 5 initially is a bit of a pain. But if you own a Cutter, it takes less than 2hrs a week of delivering to maintain it so its not too bad. Doing it through combat, or using a smaller cargo ship would take much longer and probably wouldnt work for a someone with a job/wife. I dont have either one of those two things as they both get in the way of having fun :)

I don't think you can make that kind of profit from BH by playing casually : to keep rank 5 in PP takes a fair amount of time and / or cash, then you have to BH to make profit.
If you want to trade, getting a cutter takes time (grind to duke), even with charity / ground missions ( Vindicator's tutorial : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph4rBpYtE64 )
I stopped heavily trading once I got to Elite, but at the time I used to play with this tool : http://etn.io/

And here is the general issue if you ask me with a lot of things of late.
"What is worth the most" and people go do that and that only.
Whatever other motivation or in game effect there might be, many are only motivated by material goods, leading to CG's where people complain about the rewards, even though the idea with the CG is freeing slaves or similar other CG's.

Wonder what could be done to change this.

Not sure why Robigo would be cheating - but if you want to do Shadow Deliveries without logging on and off, head to Sothis and Ceos, fly between the stations and fill up on as many Shadow Deliveries as you can. Depending on your trade rank you should easily get over 10 million/hour including waiting for a few BB refreshes.

Robigo runs aren't cheating any more that quadruple bounties are cheating. They're both features of the game. Some people don't approve of mission stacking but to me it makes no sense to do one trade or smuggling run at a time. If you had a 38 ton articulated lorry going from England to the continent you wouldn't take just 5 tons of cargo in it, you'd fill it up with other stuff to maximise the profits.

I'm guessing it's the log-on-offski dance that could be considered cheating. I do it, but I will admit it feels a little dirty. However all you are doing is cutting down on time waiting for a BB refresh, so you are not doing anything that the game wouldn't do on it's own given time - it just cuts down on waiting.

Edit: Sorry, that was OT, however if you truly are looking for the quickest cash, head to robigo in an Asp, stack as many missions you can, and look at about 20-25 million/hour once you get the hang of avoiding scans. Don't think anything can beat that at the moment.

Hernovacle. Compromised NAV beacon.
Tons of pirates and wanted people.
High combat rank too, and their bounties are massive.
In a single run I can drive up hundreds of thousands in less than an hour.
And that's in a really weak ship, and I'm at combat.
