Maybe in the future it'll have a function like being able to dock on it if you're part of the faction. But for now, it just looks cool.

The way the capital ships always jumps in "just for you" somehow reminds me of some kind of video I've once seen. Can't remember. Ah right this one hehe.

It would really be awesome if the whole "front end simulation" would be more consistent and persistent.

You have to drop out at the capital ship - select it on your navigation list.

When I visited Sol (prior to the Sorbago conflict and my subsequent relocation to Imperial Space) I stopped by to check it out. Dropped into the Capital Ship nav point, but the Capital Ship did not spawn. There were no contacts on my nav panel either.

I had assumed it was recently destroyed and there was a timer before it would come back, but it sounds as though there may be an error.

Is there a variable time delay for the Cap Ships to jump in to the point after a player arrives? This may explain it, as I didn't stay in the instance for more than a few minutes before leaving.

Keep trying. It doesn't always show up.

I ticketed this bug on the 14th. On the 17th someone from FD support added a note to the ticket asking if I was still seeing it and closed the ticket. I re-opened the ticket on the same day and embedded this video. There has been no acknowledgement or response since. The ticket number is #628. I understand we're well into the 10,000s now.

Have them moving around hte system like their small cousins.. including escorts and a CAP.
