wracking my brain how to deal with 'meta-fdl'.
I know my t-10, stacked with 6 long range burst with thermal shock, there is a 50/50 chance they'll burn out before they can blow me up.
Considering they're running 5g overcharged PPs and extremely hot weapons, possibly prismatics, I would have liked to think that I am running a perfect counter to their build.
...
without making further wide-sweeping changes to heat dynamics, I think perhaps lowering their heat threshold from 224 to somewhere around 180.
give them more of a glass-cannon archetype if they decide to run so incredibly hot. Make heat a serious consideration in their build/tactics, instead of something they can easily push through with minimal consequence.
At minimum I think that would force them to carry an extra heat-sink or two -- though still find themselves countered by thermal shock/cascade, balancing meta.
