Some Monkey suggestions

Well, I did like the White Faced Capuchin Monkeys as well as the Proboscis Monkeys. But I was wondering that we could have some extra monkey species. I still think these monkey species would should be updated in the game.

Habitat Monkeys for the game:
  • Lion Tailed Macaque
  • Rhesus Macaque
  • Vervet Monkey
  • Northern plains gray langur
  • Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey
  • Golden Lion Tamarin
  • Tufted Capuchin
  • Olive Baboon
  • Common Squirrel Monkey

My must-have monkeys are:
  • Hamadryas baboon.
  • Geoffroy's spider monkey (or the subspecies, Mexican spider monkey).
  • Bolivian squirrel monkey.
  • Tufted capuchin.
  • Cotton-top tamarin.
Others I really want:
  • Golden lion tamarin.
  • Diana monkey.
  • Lion-tailed macaque.
  • Red-shanked douc.
  • Grey langur species (Northern Plains probably).

Broadly speaking:

1. At least two New World monkeys--one from the tamarin/marmoset wing (preferably the GLT) and one spider or howler monkey. Ideally at least four (GLT, spider, howler, squirrel, plus maybe a white-faced saki).
2. At least one mid-sized African monkey; I'd go with the mantled guereza which is very common in zoos while also being recognizable and charismatic. For a second pick I'd go with the De Brazza's monkey.
3. At least one baboon (including the baboon-adjacent gelada). My preference would be the hamadryas baboon.
4. Maybe one more Asian monkey, probably the lion-tailed macaque, but I'm not as concerned about getting one of these.

Me think the mantled guereza is not getting enough love on this forum...

I'm not a huge fan of monkeys but I like to build realistic zoos so yes, we need more monkeys. Other than the mantled guereza (we need at least one small primate from Africa and they are beautiful and very common in zoos), I would like a baboon species (preferably Hamadryas but any would be ok) and some smaller primates from SA (at least one tamarin species and a howler monkey). Spider monkeys would objectively be a good choice too but I really don't like them. They are freaking scary.

My top choices would be:

1. Golden-bellied mangabey
2. Patas monkey
3. Gelada
4. Venezuelan red howler monkey
5. Either mantled guereza OR Angolan colobus
6. Northern talapoin monkey
7. Bolivian squirrel monkey
8. De Brazza's guenon
9. Spectacled langur
10. Colombian black spider monkey

Oh weird... They have been in almost every European zoo I've been too.
Well, I haven't been to many European zoos. I have noticed a trend though with a lot of European players implying "common in European zoos = common in captivity". In this case I think the mantled guereza and related species actually are quite common in a lot of zoos, but it's helpful to remember that Europe isn't representative by itself (that isn't supposed to sound patronising, so please forgive me if it does 😅 ).

1. Mantled guereza / Black and white colobus. One of the few primates I have strong "I want this THIS species" desire for rather than a general "I want a primate species in this general category". I really, really want to make a mixed exhibit with them and gorillas
2. Squirrel monkey species
3. Spider monkey species
4. Howler monkey species
5. Tarmarin or Marmoset species
6. Baboon species or Gelada
7. Indian primate species
8. Diana monkey
9. Red-shanked douc
10. Lar gibbon

It doesn't, don't worry. I'm aware of the fact that what is common in European zoos might not be common elsewhere and vice-versa. But I think we somehow all have this feeling that what we see often in our local zoos is "common". Even if we know it might not be common everywhere, it feels common to us.

Literally me.
However, I have the same attitude for a Hamadryas Baboon.
As such, here are my picks:
1.Mantled Guereza
2.Hamadryas Baboon
3.Squirrel Monkey
4.Howler Monkey
5.any small monkey like marmosete or tamarin (Golden Lion Tamarin for example)

I think after Frontier have depleted the themes and biomes. I think they should release species pack to wrap up all the animals everyone want. AND extra revenue for them.

Monkey Pack:
1) Golden Snub Nose Monkey
2) Spider Monkey
3) Bald Uakari
4) Gelada
5) Hamadryas baboon
6) Howler Monkey
7) Langur
WIE) Golden lion tamarin, Emperor tamarin, Squirrel monkey
