So, I'm currently running a cheetah breeding project. I am currently in sandbox with fighting off so as to keep a ton of cheetahs together in one enclosure to keep it simple. I am breeding them lion pride style, i.e. one main breeding male, a bunch of females mostly related to eachother but not the male.
However, this is slightly inefficient as I eventually have to swap out males for ones from the TC, and I can never seem to get really high quality good ones from there- which means on the father side, there is no improvement. However, I am getting extremely high quality male cubs from this breeding group that I cannot breed due to inbreeding.
However, say I created a second breeding group. In Group 2, I add in a male from Group 1, and a bunch of unrelated females from the TC. Would I then be able to breed the resulting male offspring back to the females in Group 1, with said offspring technically being their cousin/neice/nephew/uncle without the game actually registering it as inbreeding?
