Yeah, we've all seen (pictures of) a Peduncle Tree before and it's not new for us, but it might be the sort of thing which gets other people interested in playing, or makes someone who did a bit of exploring three years ago remember the game and come back.

Yeah, but I think Frontier aren't doing themselves any favors with how it's worded. "There's something strange afoot in Mycapp PW-G C12-6!" does sound a bit like a call to action so players check it out.

Of course we "regulars" know it's not because we know there's nothing going on at the moment.

Seriously, though, is this where we are with ED now?
We used to have audio messages with images hidden in them that directed us to specific areas of the galaxy.
Now we're getting messages on twitbook containing puns.

Well the arrival star and a close in belt are what would be found if someone just jumped through and did not fire their system scanner.
