Something odd?

So, not so long ago, I went out and explored in the Pleiades Nebula, where I explored the system called Maia (my first black hole!). It was devoid of life, being so far away from everything.

Tonight, I was considering a return visit and I looked at the system map only to find there's now a station there. I'm somewhat baffled by this. Where did it come from? Is this something a player has constructed? What's up with this?

You don't spend a lot of time on the forum do you :D

Massive push from 1000's of commanders to complete numerous community goals to get that station there! Do search for Obsidian Ant and you'll find the back story :)

I helped with the CG, and got into the top 5% with metals (LOTS of copper!) and then the same level with electronics. I shall have to make the trip out to it.

LOL thought it was just me that delivered all that Copper from next door, 6ly (?) away was it!? :D

Was my first CG and I enjoyed it, also made top 5%.
Went and visited the station just before Christmas, it's beautiful inside that Nebula......nice station, they could of given the place a white interior with Palm Trees and Parks though.
