Sorry but I like the Adder

I personally like the classical shape more than the current one. I looks too much like a variation of the space shuttle. I riggered the ship for exploration by omitting cargo space. It's a very capable ship for exploring.

Bought an Adder last night. Loving it! The 3 hardpoints give it decent combat capabilities and I can haul 16T of cargo. Gave it a few quick upgrades and already have max jump to 12 LY. Can't wait to get more cash to get up to the 20 LY range I have read about.

Nifty 'lil ship I must say!

I liked the Adder back when I was flying one. Reminds me of the Space Shuttle.
Also, the sound it produces while braking frightened me a bit the first time.
Going to get one again some day.

The sound still freaks me out at times and I've been using it for 2 weeks!

Also an Adder fan. I went up to the Cobra for the extra hold space, but the Adder wins out as an exploration ship - much easier on the fuel, even if the ride isn't quite so smooth.

I couldn't wait till I got the Adder, the Sidewinder was just too damn small to be of much use as anything. I don't have any issues with how it looks, reminds me of a Trek shuttle and that's not bad, but I think they should have made it a sleeker machine like the old shape. It's a big step up from the Sidewinder and more useful than the Hauler, but after the first time I got into combat with it I realised I'd have to ditch it. It was just too slow in the turn, and the engine sound just annoys me if I'm honest.
