Switch to solo mode, they won't bother you then. Either that or round up the posse and teach them a thing or two.
Some very good points here, interesting to point out that traders pushing imperial slaves will generally look at their earning like this cr / t / hr and the time factor really plays a strong part in this as you would expect.
For example:- As I am carrying 400T cargo capacity
1 Hour spent looking through missions
30 minutes travel time to the bubble
1 hour spent delivering them
30 minutes back to Sothis
Total time spent = 3 hours
Total profit made = 57 Million
Profit/tonnage/time = cr/t/hr
57,000,000 / 400 / 3 = 47,500cr/t/hr
So if you would compare this to a different ship and I will use the python as that was the last ship I did it in.
200T Cargo
1 Hour spent looking through missions
45 minutes travel time back to the bubble
1 hr and 15 minutes spent delivering them
45 minutes back to Sothis
Total time spent = 3 hours and 30 minutes
Total profit made 37 Million
Profit/tonnage/time = cr/t/hr
37,000,000 / 200 / 3.5 = 52,857cr/t/hr
So here you can see an increased per tonne profit but a reduced overall profit lets take this a step further...
Type 6
100T Cargo
30 Minutes spent looking through missions
30 Minute travel time to bubble
30 minutes delivering
30 minutes back to Sothis
Total time spent = 2 hours
Total profit made = 15 million
Profit/tonnage/time = cr/t/hr
15,000,000 / 100 / 2 = 75,000 cr/t/hr
These are just rough estimates, naturally the better missions will affect the profits and the final figures but I think you can see my point above that the time spent in travel and at the bases looking through missions really make a difference on the efficiency of the route.
And the whole point of this post is to give you something to think about when trying to decide what ship you prefer and if it is more efficient, sometimes the biggest isn't always the most efficient but will offer different bonuses like protection and jump range. Smaller ships offer speed and ability to get onto medium pads.
Food for thought my fellow commanders o7

Oh, I agree 100% - it's just I don't seem to find them quite as quick as in the Python and positively crawling compared to the AspX.
Still, it's quite amusing to hear myself griping about it - it's over 50 MILLION CREDITS after all!![]()

In the time it took for my Python to get there my Conda can be there, docked, loaded, and on the way back. Meanwhile my Python has just arrived in the wred stars outside of Sothis.
The only downside I have is having to pick missions carefully so I do not pick up one I cannot deliver.
Where as my Asp would on the way back to Sothis ready for the next run [rolleyes] earning more per hour played![]()
It's because we can't dock at sothis mining in our condas... I bought a t6 out in Ceos, kitted it out with 100T cargo... As soon as I get to sothis I swap ships and pop to mining before taking any other missions. Fill the cargo up from there then head back. I've found I've been able to fill my cargo up quicker doing that.
If you do this you do need to take note of what kind of ports the missions send you to. A lot of them are for medium and small docks only, so back in the bubble I have another t6 to do the reverse method (unload in the large star ports first in my conda, then swap to my t6).
It can be a little time consuming back in the bubble, but saves on time waiting for missions in sothis/ceos.
I think I saw you yesterday in a station in CEOS os Sothis, I was surprised to see a Type 6 from a Commander

Very good ship, a little under estimated for cargo and speed!
Agreed. I have one parked up at Decist to do my running about in when I'm grinding for the FSD bits. Might be headed back there tonight actually. I feel I need a Grade 4 FSD range increase on the Conda and have the stuff to do it!
Good luck with that. RNG can be a ..... But even with a 22% increase, I was able to get 44ly range
