I'm guessing you are talking data deliveries? IIRC haulage missions provide more rep than data, you can get +5 rep with these missions. But you will need a Python to do these.

Yes but you can stack maybe 10 or more data deliveries to the same destination at once for 25 to 35 rep per trip. Speeds up the rep grind for rank. Best done with a small ship to reduce chances of waiting for a landing pad when you arrive.

Don't know if you noticed that a 2+ rep haulage gets you more than a 2+ rep courier. Shrug, not sure why. I used to stack courier and haulage, made the grind go a lot quicker. :sleep:

Well any alternative mission from time to time adds variety to the grind. Did it to get a Cutter months ago. Still can't face doing it again for the vette. My son is doing fed rank right now.

No it doesn't.

It might have historically, but the "+" system has been based on the absolute value of the reputation change for several years now.

But you get more value for a 2+ mission, if you are wearing a pair of y-fronts, as opposed to boxer shorts.

I’ve seen the experimental evidence to back this up, so I’ll need evidence to prove otherwise if you say this is not true.

I went full on crazy with the federal grind after switching from console to pc. Wanted my vet back. I ran the mail AND passenger missions to atmospherics. Federal passengers only that had a reputation reward. They were often 3 and 4 +. Definitely made it go by faster.

I thought the whole Ceos / Sothis thing had been broken up many years ago. Was there a resurgence more recently or do you do it just for rank, not credits?

Ceos - Sothis, like Robigo - Sothis (Sirius atmospherics), is still good for credits with passenger missions it seems. I never ran the passenger missions Ceos to Sothis (only from Robigo), but with Federation factions there it makes sense there would be Fed rank gain. I did do some Fed rank grind between Ceos and Sothis with data courier missions between outposts, but I stopped once I got the Sol permit.
