Not really for the cockpit, but some nice in-game items (or even RL) for the outside of the ship... Bumber Stickers! Such as;

"Larva On Board"
"I Brake For Super Novas" (or Whales, Petunias, etc.)
"I DON'T Brake For Trumbles"
"My Other Craft is a Panther Clipper"
"I'd Rather Be Exploring"
"IF YOU CAN READ THIS... then you are in direct violation of article 796-4b regarding proximity standards set forth by the Elite Pilots Foundation Act of 3284"

Once i get the game and get in the habit of playing it with Oculus Rift i want the ability to take a picture of my living room, write "you really live here" and then scan it into the game and hang it in my cockpit.

lol yeah I hear ya! I think a lot of us are going to be needing to do that too. Been playing Lunar Flight with it lately, you really end up zoning out! I can imagine it being a whole got worse in ED. :eek::D

But seriously, can the cockpit keyboard on the left panel be made to look like a C64, speccy or Acorn? That would be cool. Also what about a toaster? For when you need nice hot buttered toast, or a muffin? Or crumpet?

Why yes, I was thinking of calling my Cobra the "Benny Hill". Cue yakety sax for docking music.

A bit of an old topic, but I just got the game yesterday and I remember watching alpha and premium beta footage of ships with a bobblehead on the dashboard so to speak.
Now it seems that they have been removed. Any idea why and if/when they'll make a return?

3. The console between your legs a news updates? picking up old tv singnals from earth. seen as it would take a long time for siganls to reach out across the galaxy the farther you go old radio signals from earth from ww2 etc. 1st live broadcast of orson wells the war of the worlds etc perhaps ;)
4. Maybes your guys a slob sob so a minibar with beers and a minimicrowave for those borritos ;)
5. I sometimes enjoy a cigar from time to time cant see an ash tray anywhere or even a flask of whisky.
6. kit slung over the console gun belt perhaps.

1- Different HUD setups(location of stuff and all)
2- Ship Voice Pack
3- Different Laser color
4- Different Thruster/Afterburner/Booster color.
5- Ship's name tag, just like CSGO does with weapon tags.
6- Different Pilot skins. (I could use a sombrero near the sun)
7- Stickers/Decals
8- Different Ship Light's color

All these things wouldn't hurt the game.
