Space Engineers: Any DBX pilots out there?

I've got a new big 4K TV that I want to go back and try SE on someday soon(ish). Between MFS and ED "awakening" (return of CGs), I just haven't had the time to also play SE, but I'm sure the mood with strike this winter.
That will be nice. I like buying coming upto Christmas, always have, especially tech stuff. Hope you enjoy your new tv.

The thing I find, is anytime I crank up a space game, doesn't matter which, it always makes me want to stop and crank up Space Engineers instead. I get that feeling a lot when playing Dual Universe. ;)

I lost all interest in DU when I saw the actual gameplay videos. I'm more interested in Empyrion, but it too tends to make me want to go back to SE. ED, on the other hand, is a very different experience, especially in VR. It offers a number of things SE doesn't. Now if SE would just steal the exploration and NPC gameplay elements from Empyrion, then it would really be the perfect game for its genre. Oh, and make the water mod part of the actual game like they did weather!

Yeah I agree, they have to make that water mod a vanilla thing.

I go into Dual Universe to collect the credits (100,000 per day), but I haven't stayed in for any time. Its not a patch on Space Engineers really, plus of course sp is really my thing, so Dual is more about interest than the gaming. But I do intend to build something in Dual eventually.

Engineers tops all the space games for me, just nothing like it for size/scale. I wouldn't want Empyrions npc's really, I think ED's invisible enemies are better, you know just ships. The same is in Engineers and it works well.
I want sci-fi with some science behind it, and of course the ability to build your own stuff, is a must have for me.
