So...I decided to take a video of my ship "spinning out of control"...because hey, why not?
It's nice to have a break from the norm when you're out in the middle of nowhere...

At around 1 minute 18 seconds into the video I realised something was wrong.

You know, being ~14k ly from a dock is scary enough.

I am half way to Jaques in a lazy S route from the bubble just for kicks and I gotta say the thought of anything happening like that makes my seat cushion on my chair disappear.

Yeah - but having been out int he black so long, it starts to get to you...and sometimes you just need to do something different! ;)

Space madness is very real. First you get bored, then your mind wanders and you make silly mistakes. I had that happen to me several times on my journey to Sag A* and ended up with a cracked canopy thousands of light years away from anywhere. Luckily I made it back to the bubble after a month and a bit out in the Big Black.

But I like the detail that you see the red light coming from your cockpit in the external view in case of emergency.

What do we learn from it? If you wan't to do weird stuff... there is plenty of space.
