Space Mountain in Planet Coaster 2 (Very close remake of Disneyland Paris)

I am building a Disneyland park, partly with original rides or variations of existing ones. I wanted to share my progress on Space Mountain. There will be more coming updates when i further finish this project. The Space Mountain area already is more then 41k pieces, so the park will be a heavy one once its finished.

This is pretty good, It's too bad that we still don't have a old vekoma launch coaster like space mountain and Rock'n Rollercoaster.

Indeed, i'd love to have the original track design on the ride. I now used the Vector Sitdown ride type with the jetplane train, i must say it works pretty well with this but its too bad we can only have 2 cars with that one...

How do you even design something like that xD I can't imagine trying to build something like that with the limited scenery and lack of custom objects the game has right now.

The aquatic theme and art shapes helped a lot :)
Can't wait to see what the game will offer in the future though

This is looking really great so far. It's a really awesome looking, beautifully themed ride and you've captured it brilliantly. I can't wait to see more.

Agreed.... So many people are complaining how the game is super lackluster, which it's like they don't remember how PC1 was when it first released. It's nice to see there's at least one person making awesome things rather than complaining :D

This is amazing! I'm in awe with the surrounded themeing and the roof details. I'm actually working on something similair and there is a small chance you may have seen it on the workshop or reddit where i've posted it a week ago. I'm kinda jealous in a good way at how beautiful your is! It is nice to see how you have tackled some aspects of the build and see you've done a stellar job at it! On my build i've been trying to limit myself to the maximum piece count of 4000 to keep it available on the workshop and had to cut some corners on the detail and accuracy. I'll post some pictures as i'm sure you would be interested to see this. I don't have an rtx card like you so the global illumination is horrible but you'll get the idea.

Started with a two part facade that has a low amount of pieces for the workshop

Just last weekend i've finished my iteration of columbiad.(not as good as yours;))

I've used the premium rides lsm as it had similair launch options. i did try and make it with the vector looping and played with brakes and a fast and a slow lift hill but its just not the same. i've recreated the layout from some schematics i've found so i think its pretty spot on in that aspect.
Workshop code for the lsm: 97TQFYZS6
Workshop code for the vector looping: 5CKBYJ0RM
Top down schematics are found on this page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/63631877@N00/ i believe it was on page 7 the scale on them are 1:3 in feet.

Through the comet.jpg

also tried to recreate the trains.

Workshop code for the full build: 25W55TD2F.

Anyways it will be nice to see your progress. Keep going as its absolutly amazing looking!

Thanks for the kind words, yours is looking really great so far aswell. Doing it with limited pieces is very tricky to do justice, but i think you're doing great. Pretty cool to see someone try their hands on it aswell, very inspiring.

Hi everyone, today i'm back with another update. Last week i started on the station building and its going pretty well so far, i'd say its close to being finished.

Have some small updates again to share. I have finished of the station and am working my way through the inside queue section now. I have made a constellation room but different from the one in Paris. The planetarium like structure also spins around.

The outside of the ride is almost completely finished now. I still only have to build a shop at the exit.

The inside of the dome is still empty, but i'm starting to work on it soon.
Thanks for reading and all the lovely comments :)
