Going back to the inspiration for this..... it's a shame they just don't adopt it as a sense of humour thing ..... they could have a twitter account like @whereisboaty and show its current location and have a personality like they did with the landers on mars and the comet...

They could interject that with facts/interesting info about the ship/region/pics

But just another lesson of big-corp/government .... don't ask the internet to name something unless you're 100% prepared for the crackers response that WILL be generated and loved by the people!

A pox on your 'immersion' (and anyone elses 'immersion'). Can you honestly say with a straight face that if the ED Universe was real that it wouldn't be stuffed with planets, moons, stations, and bases with a whole host of silly names. Of course there would be, it would actually be immersion breaking if there *wasn't* silly names abound.
