During lavecon people were in a sidewinder and the highly talented Mr Kerrash won with a time of 43 seconds.

Don't know if it was deliberate ( ;) ) but the first youtube link goes to the Anaconda speed run as well, instead of Kerrash's landing :)

Pretty damn impressive though, well done!

59 seconds anaconda dock! :)

Hello, this is Hugo Walker again (from the lavecon speed docking competition)

I was a bit out of practice when I docked the sidewinder (hadn't docked in literally 1 and a half months!) and so could only manage 48 seconds.

I thought I would give the speed docking a go in a ship that I was more accustomed to: The Anaconda.
Here is my entry for the speed docking competition in the anaconda class: 59 seconds
The video I have for proof has for some reason got the last 2 - 3 seconds of the docking cut off :/. But rest assured that I am not lying and this was a legitimate time.

EDIT: By the way - the warning of landing gear not being deployed is a bug. I have reported it - but it caused my earlier attempt to fail as I believed it and hit the button for landing gear. This caused me to slam the deck :D

Yeah I was getting mixed readings on that. The nav panel said I was at the right range but the target said not. Any ideas?
