We all love speedruns, and in Elite you can speedrun pretty much anything; from missions, distances, trade routes, to buckyball.

Now I challenge you to speedrun the Tutorial!

Last week's Frame Shift Live gave us an in-depth look at the making of the Odyssey Surface Operation Tutorial, thanks to Senior Designer Tom Kewell. We learned details about the mission configuration and objectives, including Tom's secret "run out of ammo" optional.

The goal of this thread is to post your best speedrun times in two categories: 100% and Any %.

100% - All Objectives Complete (optional included)
Any % - Fastest run-through without fail.

Start Time: Click on Surface Operation Tutorial
End Time: Click on "Board Ship"

Hopefully we can get several Commanders involved and set a competitive record!

Posting my first 100% run as an example and time to beat.

I figured board ship should be end time since the only control you have after that point is to click disembark and fade out at random times.

Plus the trip to Chamberlain's Rest basically doubles the time. 🎃

Yeah, your option makes more sense. I only mentioned it because a race to the elevator was apparently a thing at Frontier.
