SPQR's Leader Makes an Odd Decision

The Imperial group, Senatus Populusque Romanus, was once a thriving group receiving dedicated recruits daily and completing every operation released including conquering Mandjila for the Empire.

However, after the galaxies most powerful and influential leaders drew the lines around their territory forcing CMDRs to choose allegiance (Power Play), many of SPQRs members including their recruitment officer and three Senate Elders went MIA to never be seen or heard from again.

SPQR's leader, CMDR Mongo Sensi, did not let this discourage him from achieving the goal set by his leader, founder of SPQR, Lucius Octavius, who remains planet side to attend to matters there. Mongo Sensi continued to find recruits and constantly focused on SPQR development.

New members continue to join SPQR but most end up abandon their ships fed up with the galaxy's trials and tribulations or ventured out on their own to fly independently for the rest of time.

CMDR Mongo Sensi finally had enough of these fickled, half hearted, hot headed CMDRs... So he made a decision that is rather odd... SPQR's recruitment for experienced pilots requires a very extensive process including a written exam and an interview. For new fledgling CMDRs, SPQR leaves their doors wide open for them to walk right in.

"What we have to offer, the new CMDRs will benefit greatly which will build a large amount of trust and a strong bond. For experienced CMDRs, we do have exciting things for them but judging from the past, these CMDRs expect royalty treatment from day one and views new CMDRs as inferior people... This is not how SPQR functions, this is not how the Empire functions and if ANY of my officers ever were to act like that, I will ensure that they will wish to have never even thought of becoming a pilot!"
