I don’t see why it’s an ‘end of support idea’ - nothing about it suggests or implies that to me.

Technically, you are correct. Central America is like Southeast Asia: it's its own region, but not an actual continent/country (which in turn is why I actually suggested it, because it'd be a nice region pack. The only flaw: no maned wolves will appear)

For an endangered species pack?
The headliners that @SalamAnders suggested are great. Best I think would be Taz.
If Frontier asked me to design it, I'd go the following:

- Amur leopard (star 2)
- Fossa
- Scimitar horned oryx
- Przewalski's wild horse
- Hawksbill turtle
- Black footed ferret
- Axolotl (E)

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who wishes for a black rhino, especially if you played ZT series in your childhood!
But then again, they are really endangered....
Not only for ZT, that was a game that marked my chilhood along with Doom and Turok. Many wants the black rhino for another rhino and this fits specially with the theme of endangered species.
Not to mention apart from the S ranked Sumatran rhinos, blacks, whites, and the Indians are the most well kept species of rhinos in zoos worldwide.

Anyone knew around how many zoos had black rhinos?
According to EAZA ZooTierListe-23 zoos in Europe have Black Rhinos.
Don't know about the rest of the world
Now you said, how many zoos kept sumatra rhinos? I know some zoos in america and asia has sumatra rhinos, but I seeing zoo tierliste no sumatra rhinos in europe zoos
The only zoo that ever kept them was Cincinnati Zoo. They successfully bred them once, but recently returned their rhinos to an animal reserve in Sumatra. Now there are none in captivity.
I'd still prefer the Sumatran rhinoceros to the black rhinoceros, though. Although I am well aware of the many differences between the two species, having the white rhinoceros is enough for me.

We need this in the game sooo badly. If there a extreme conservation pack, this will be in it. OR Frontier should release a charity pack for Rhino foundation. Including the black, Sumatran, and javan rhino + a conservation research center for some research boost. Sell for $15 USD, and $5 will go to Rhino Foundation.
We need to get some update first before we think about animals. LOL
