I have an idea to enable a feature whereby one squadron could create a contract to complete x action for y credits. I.e. squadron A is a trade focused squadron with few combat specialized commanders. They want to hire squadron B to protect their ships from station 1 to station 2 with less than 5% casualties. It would also entail a squadron bank, member permissions and probably a few other parameters, but it would allow squadrons to work together, allow for a truly free market service economy and many other things. Enabling squadron level transactions could essentially allow b2b services. You could even go as far as to allow individual commanders to solicit squadrons for services making pmc, fuel, repair, and other services possible.
