Newcomer / Intro SRV info

Right Panel - probably a tab called SRV? Should be a button at the bottom of the tab IIRC
Hi Thanks for getting back to me but my problem is when i am in the SRV i can't get it back on board the ship none of the keys or buttons on the joystick work . So My plan was to destroy the SRV and start again with a new one

The SRV uses different keymaps to the ships so you might need to do some key mapping if the SRV in general won't move. To get back on board you need to line up below the ship and then use the '3' panel to Embark. There is an indicator to the far right of the HUD indicating when you are aligned.

There is nothing special about being under the ship that changes your keybinds. I'd look at the binds and see what you have set. Normally it is '3' on the keyboard. aka Crotch controls.
If you cannot access the "crotch panel" then you'll have problems elsewhere as well, because it's the same key when you're in your ship as when you're in your SRV.
You need to figure out what keybinding you have for that panel. Destroying your SRV won't fix anything.

As Codger said - it is duplicated under the SRV settings, so might be that one
and you might also have to look around the menu once you get it up as you need the SRV tab - like this, only it will say Embark if you are in the SRV

Ya, use the "slam on the E brake" trick too. You can have the SRV pointing in any direction, when it starts lifting it into the ship, it will automatically reorient it.It took me a long time to notice the "board" light too.

Boarding used to be on the left panel... back in the Old Days.
I have shown people pictures of that and they have flat out accused me of lying.It took me a long time to notice the "board" light too.
