General SRV why are they different in each games

in horizons they run out of fuel
in odyssey the run around like they have unlimited fuel.

trying horizons again picking up surface mats. and notice i am not able to run around freely like in odyssey.i run out of fuel and have to pack up and return to ship.and go to station a refuel

but in odyssey i can drive and run around for hours. no this is not a atmosphere planet either.
Surely this should be the same in horizons.

yes i know, and i don't have the mats for that but in oddy/hori, it seems to be different or they extended the fuel time calculations.
but jump back in srv on the same planet in horizons i lasted less time has the fuel calculations is lot Quicker.

and the reason i stop surface mini in oddy, is that most mats disappear after awhile, don't know if it a srv running over them like said on a few threads or their a timing problem with mats in oddy.all i know is that the fuel level in oddy doesn't seem to move very quickly.
abd in horizons it move rapidly. increase less chance of you exploring the planet and collecting mats for the said refuelling mat.

and i don't see why the refuelling mat is necessary , if you got a ship with plenty of fuel that it doesn't or can't replenish the srv.i can jump 20 lys in the dolphin atm but i can't refuel my srv using the ships supply.?
