That's assuming one Jesus tech comes before the other Jesus tech, permanent persistence is just that, no more wipes, everything else in that sentence depends on server meshing.
For the record, I like to state that I really don't give two hoots about this cluster mess.
Behind my abject apathy is the oft stated big-picture of one unfinished system, endless broken promises and missed deliveries. All requiring eleven years and 500M to 'achieve'.
Don't get me wrong, it is vaguely interesting to observe this slow-speed juggernaut crashing, but the liklihood of SC (or SQ404) ever reaching the promised endpoint (or appearing) is seemingly zero (vanishingly distant). In the meantime Starfiled will arrive, as will its many DLCs. NMS will continue to be enhanced, and, although I think unlikley, ED may yet get another update.
However I do genuinely (mostly) enjoy the mildly charming and amusing insanity of the lovely players in this thread.
In other news, I'll be having fish for my dinner, with a freshly homemade pasta sauce and (unsurprisingly) some good quality pasta, all with a good white wine.
Skips through several pages of 'My game is still better than yours because...' ...just for brevity.
Or should that be 'My opinion is still more correct than yours because...'

Star Atlas? However, are there any other Space Games that let you peruse and purchase the ultimate immersion chariot for mere currency, as it’s one and only near-complete game mechanic?
I can't bring myself to support Paradox anymore with their DLC models (I worked out how much I spent on EUIV and CKII and well... felt very dirty).Playing Crusader Kings 3 at the moment.
I bet in Star Citizen you can't marry your sister! Checkmate!
Sad news, the fish was sold out. So, a spicy sausage casserole it is. With red wine......In other news, I'll be having fish for my dinner, with a freshly homemade pasta sauce and (unsurprisingly) some good quality pasta, all with a good white wine.
Wake me up when September comes. In the meantime Starfiled will arrive, as will its many DLCs. NMS will continue to be enhanced, and, although I think unlikley, ED may yet get another update.

FTFYI look forward to the Starfield TWO remaster... before SC is delivered.
Now where was that classic quote from CIG trying to make persistence persist longer? That was awesome, @Skizomeuh ?!Isn't the point of persistence to be permanent?
...more gameplay in Stanton than the whole of tic-tac-toe.Oh wait I tell a lie, it's all happening!....]
Gear up for success!...more gameplay in Stanton than the whole of tic-tac-toe.
Carrack, Redeemer, Vanguards...I'm sure there are many othersActually, talking of chariots, I've got a question for the thread.
Can anyone remember other ships going through a 'BMM' scenario? (Like getting a big round of PR and art showcasing, a juicy price bump, and then totally not getting released for an age).
I'm thinking the Hull series, and the Carrack, might have followed similar tracks. Any others spring to mind?
It's amazing isn't it. When you're in the insanity of the SC bubble, everything looks normal. Step back and it looks ridiculous. It's the best funhouse mirror ever. However I do genuinely (mostly) enjoy the mildly charming and amusing insanity of the lovely players in this thread.
Yeah, but can you marry your stalker?I bet in Star Citizen you can't marry your sister! Checkmate!
