Now, that is an interesting find. I knew that SC´s planets surfaces had tons of copy pasted tiles, but the new skybox is a surprise.

Planet Tech V5. A plan with many tiers...

V5 is not a single thing and likely won't go out in one patch. It will likely have individual components released as and when they are ready, on the way to 1.0.
Some improvements can be applied to all planets at the same time and require no work from anyone, some may be rolled out planet by planet and others may require a pass on everything at once.

Not necessarily a direct answer to your question, but should hopefully paint a better picture of how we plan to roll this out. We also weren't able to show everything we are working on at CitizenCon, but we are excited for it all :).

Sidebar: As much as I loved that teaser bit of hype building it ruined the movie for me, as I knew at that point Weyland was going to turn up.

Unlike, (weirdly as much as I dislike it) Covenant, which did all those pre-hype vids featuring the Crew going about their daily business before Cryo sleep including James Franco :D

4.0 Release Plan Changed? - Star Citizen Spectrum

I wouldn't have noticed it at first, but in hindsight, 'December' was simply removed from the report. If CIG no longer plans to release 4.0 this year, that's totally fine. I just think it would be...
