Yep for sure. I think in the catalogue of dog-eared promises the landable future-Earth is just one of my favourites though

This is the same direction their JPGs will go eventually. Their thousands of dollar ships will be worth next to nothing.
But its fine, because they didn't buy those ships for any sort of advantage, whether it be in combat or social standing, they only gave CIG thousands of dollars to help them achieve their vision!

No SQ42 communication but a new sale is no issue. I mean, the insult added to injury is as in your face as can be.
Seen as backers complaints seem to be irrelevant to CIG unless they hit main stream it would be great if the gaming press picked up on this aswell and did not let go.

Pretty sure FS2002 had entire mesh scenery and autogen for the whole globe, with obvious handcrafting in some capital cities and selected airports. Older versions had the whole globe too, but 2002 was the big step forward imho. And of course, you could fly down to, explore and land on Earth, Sol, in FE2 and FFE.

They might still have a shot getting SQ42 out the door for 2021. But if any of this is true (especially the part where CI is trying to keep the devs employed given the pandemic) then that's going to be a no go
