ha ha, wow, so original.

Cool. ThanksIf you do get on the freefly, look me up in the contacts list and add me. I'm just plain 'Mole' in SC...It's always better to have someone show you around who is a tad cynical and realistic
Don't get me wrong, there are good bits and sometimes, the forever subjective 'fun' to be had. I had some newbies in tow tonight showing them how to mine with a ROC...advised them to just buy it in game rather than splurge the cash in the store. I reminded them they can support the project just as well by playing with nothing more than a starter package...leave the buying of ships to when Ci¬G prove they can actually get closer to releasing a game.
I hope that you're not suggesting that I'd give a dishonest review. If you do take the jump please give us an honest review.
I sure am.Are you old or something?

True. Though can't help but...lol, it is a game. the main thing that matters is if is fun.
Sound advice. But with one small problem. If people stop buying ships, CIG go under.
Being 50, I'm quite happy for another 10 years of development and feature creep - will be ideal for my retirement! (Genuine comment)
As an original backer, I have always called it my retirement game. Just sitting here, continuing to pledge a bit more now and then and let them develop it. Looking forward to my future years!
I'm only 25 and expect to play SC for decades, if not until I die.
I'm drinking a little bit but hear me out. How long ago did WoW come out? And people are still playing it religiously to this day. Think about it. Not only that but the potential for immersion from the world CIG is building details to is insane. Once this project is done many will realize this is how a VIDEO GAME is made (Some are even realizing it now). Sure there are many types of games for different people, but this I really feel will be the mainstream one day because again look at World of Warcraft.
Thanks for reading this lil "reverse-rant" i guess. We need more positive stuff like this right now. Im so proud of what Chris and CIG are doing and if I could i'd jump right in and help (Get a studio here in Chicago man! lol)
Hmm at around 42:00 hey says all the other Communitys like DCS jumping on SC. The last thing I heard was that the DCS community is more excited on SW squadrons.Salt and criticism

FPS are pretty bad, alpha is not optimised atm. You gain a lot of FPS once out of the starting city. On my old computer, I have 20 FPS average in cities, 40 FPS out of cities. Here's my honest review. Unplayable. FPS : min 8; max 21; avg 17. This as on low graphics quality. Although my PC isn't state of the art, it is better than the recommended settings as published in the faq. I've got a slightly better graphics card arriving on Wednesday. If I've got time I'll give it another shot. I do want to like this game. I would have thought that the the intention of the free fly was to get more pledges but given its current state I'm not impressed. Perhaps they need to amend their recommended settings.
not today griefer! no way im watching an hour of astropub.
I don't really care that much...their finances are their problem...I've already paid my shillingSound advice. But with one small problem. If people stop buying ships, CIG go under.

The main advices :
A good video to gain some more FPS :
- SSD is mandatory.
- Don't put graphics on low, it give less FPS than high atm.
- Turn vsync off.
- Set priority to "High" to StarCitizen.exe (task manager - details tab).

If the SSD is mandatory then shouldn't it be part of the recommended settings?
