Yes, I think this one will be delivered.
Who says SC doesn't have a flight model? Got the paper plane flight mechanics nailed!Forget the flight model, it’s the parking physics that needs some work…

A real refuel mechanism with a dedicated gameplay will be here for 3.17. The card is 'commited' on the roadmap so it will be here in the next patch.Nah, the Starfarer won’t have any actual gameplay use til a big system like Pyro arrives. We’ve got ages![]()
You are confusing with the ED way of doing it.Prediction: Tier 0 refueling will be a menu option that lists all the ships in range and then magically transfers fuel to their tanks.
Will they do it with fuel transfer lasers?
The only QoL thing worth noting in the added features list...not like we haven't been asking for it for the last 5 years or anything.maybe. maybe via limpets, but we will find out soon.

Added keybind option to request ATC landing (unbound by default)
Both ED and SC have a clunky menu bound clickety-click nonsense just to request docking...unless you use voice attack with an HCS voicepack of course. Not before time it was reduced to a single keybind![]()
Ship Positional Desync Test
Really shows the actual mass of SC ships (and that's a really big one, and one that's full of heavy cargo !)Forget the flight model, it’s the parking physics that needs some work…

I would presume you are better qualified for the job, please join CIG and give us a proper flightmodel!Still cant take that physics engine / flight model seriously, sorry. It's been coded by someone who's either clueless about coding or skipped high school. Or both, who knows, CiG seems full of surprises.
Only really show that a bug put the actual mass of the ship+cargo to zero.Really shows the actual mass of SC ships (and that's a really big one, and one that's full of heavy cargo !)

Seeing as you haven't played Elite, this is how it's actually done:You are confusing with the ED way of doing it.
Click button, limpet transfers fuel.Seeing as you haven't played Elite, this is how it's actually done:

I look forward to seeing how well the refuelling gameplay in SC works out
I never actually did it. Cargo xfer, yes but not fuel. Didn't need to either, ever. Never ran out of fuel .Seeing as you haven't played Elite, this is how it's actually done:

This is the holy grail of in depth and engaging gameplay design, thanks FDev.
Always a recipe for explosionsTransferred fuell from tanks to tanks in KSP - with all the funny ramifications.
Which button? The button that opens the valves for either a hydrogen or quantum fuel tank, the button that opens the fuel transfer nozzle or the button to set the price for said fuel?Click button, pipe transfers fuel.
I know how it's done and it's not good.Seeing as you haven't played Elite, this is how it's actually done:
Just no. Look again at the gameplay showed in the precedent video posted by Sovapid, it seems you have missed a lot of mechanisms...Click button, pipe transfers fuel.
