Star Map

Is anyone else finding the star map annoying to use I just found out that it does not display the trade routes unless the planet in question is displayed on the screen this makes it really annoying to try and find out if any system are exporting things that you need for missions. Could they not do a 2d map as well that will allow better control.

I guess the problem is that the galaxy is fundamentally based in 3 dimensions, flattening that out would just look more confusing as systems that are really far apart on the axis you got rid of would look really close and then people wouldn't understand why they couldn't get to them.

On a 2d map you could have 6 systems occupying the same spot on top of each other.

Nah, its ok. Once you get used to it. Its cool.

Not if your able to zoom past them eve did a similar thing where you could have it all 3d or 2d the 2d one was easier to manipulate.
