I think you started there if you opted for no rover, and Asselus Prime if you opted for the rover, in those days.

That sounds about right. I also started after Horizons and I remember there being both a surface and space-based starting option. I took the planetary option in Baker's Prospect.

Out of curiosity, is there a list anywhere of the starting systems over the history of the game?

Sounds familiar OP, my first netlog was on 23/12/2014 at 09:32......must have been when the game first launched & was open for 'business'.

I spent a lot of time around LHS 3447, building up my credits via trading (& game experience).......as I recall, I started to advance more quickly once I could afford that DC for my Ship
