Eh, sure, it probably won't make any difference. Still, it might well do for work so I'll get it anyway.yea...there's a big difference between being limited to 500MB/sec and 2+GB/sec
Are you looking for redundancy

I had a quick look, and then thought sod it, I can't be arsed. "I think our brains must be too highly trained"Perhaps if everyone in this thread uses our combined braincell, we can beat Canonn to the punch!
500MB/sec -> 2+GB/sec wasn't being sarcastic. You most certainly will notice a huge difference in anything that is IO bound. read or write.
I thought Ender was redundant.
Do you think it might be a tribute to Lionel?Especially if there is a cat implicated as well.
No forgiveness for rat eaters. In Mr. Voss's defence, he was talking about muskrats.
I concur...as have anecdotal evidence. Mid year I swapped out a standard SSD for an NVMe. This was the drive used to store the ED game files. Huge difference in loading times before and after. And I didn't even buy a fast NVMe, just run of the mill.500MB/sec -> 2+GB/sec wasn't being sarcastic. You most certainly will notice a huge difference in anything that is IO bound. read or write.

Perhaps the secret message is "American bacon isn't real bacon." That'd be a cause worthy of intergalactic terrorism, to strike fear into Ender...Unless it's about bacon based junk food we've got no chance.
Henry the Brabth?

It is pretty much what you describe, a moving '70's sci-fi book cover' with a flight model... (cough)... a sort of flight model... (splutter)... well... it has space ships.I bought NMS, and keep updating it, but just can't get into it, no idea why, it just feels wrong somehow. I like the bizarre colour schemes, very 70's sci-fi book cover / Prog rock album cover. I will give it a another try, and see how I get on, but it just feels a bit arcady / mobile phone game
The textures in the first pic for the ground are shocking, and as for the alien, if that is what we can expect from FDEV, then please, don't bother!
You got body sized pillows of me in your cell?
Do you think it might be a tribute to Lionel?
such as
"Possibly the most versatile performer was Lionel Blair, and no one will ever forget the occasion he was given A Town Like Alice when he chose to do a silent impression of the author. Such was the performance Una Stubbs gasped in amazement when she saw 'Neville Shute' in Lionel's face."
I'm thinking of posting this as a possible solution on the thread - See you in 3 months time![]()
