Certainly with that level of tech skill and tolerance of issues they're gonna have a blast in SC. And I'm looking forward to more of Drew's escapades there as well

An Elite Commander/stroppy author plays SC streams are sure to be on the cards.
I guess one issue fdev has is that SC doesn't support consoles or VR .. if only it did .... it would be so much more peaceful around here
you'd still have filthy casuals here ...because if SC is anything, it's unfriendly to people who want to "play" something that is devoid of any effort. and just setting your keybinds up in SC is a daunting task that would exclude them from the start.I guess one issue fdev has is that SC doesn't support consoles or VR .. if only it did .... it would be so much more peaceful around here

Apparently my "90 days or so" is off just a little.
My first post in these forums (not in SotG) was 3 June 2021...coincidentally the same day SotG was born...
My 5th post on these forums, 30 June 2021, was my 1st in SotG (#20,301 - 27 days after SotG started), on page 1016... (and coincidentally, the same day I made my first Elite rank, in trading). Also makes today exactly 6 months (by date/not days) since my first SotG post.
My next post in SotG, and possibly the fatal one, that locked me in, was 23 July 2021. I was simply laughing at one of PRORABBIT67s many, ummmm, images/giffys...there were also 3 other posts by me in SotG that day and some the next day so I'll count that as regular participation from that point on.
So full time job in SotG for about 120 days now...
At the risk of discussing a non-game, I'm sure that I know VR was promised......I guess one issue fdev has is that SC doesn't support consoles or VR .. if only it did .... it would be so much more peaceful around here

i have it on good authority that the silent majority of scientists that have read the original author's paper agree that their little artificial cells are incredibly awesome and extremely useful and the claims being made are true.

Recent advances in robotics include building robots that are fueled by meat. Wow, that’s nuts, right? So they did it again. With corpses.
So now that the robots know how to prepare and eat meat, let’s ask them what they think of us, shall we? According to the robots, we are bacon. Mmmmm. Bacon.
But we shouldn’t worry, should we? At least they can’t escape. Oh, no, wait.
Okay. That is a little distressing. Shall we recap, then? We have built robots that are fueled by meat; we have taught them to recognize meat; they now know how to butcher meat; and we’ve made sure that they can get out of their paddocks and onto the streets.
What shall we do next? I know! Let’s build ANGRY robots!
