I agree. Group think is the problem. we need to end the establishment and institute a anarchistic system of absolute individualism. Starting with the pilots federation. Their opaque and totalitarian rule over where we can travel and what jobs we can take based on some arbitrary measure of our abilities needs to end!
Oh boy, that was some serious answer.
Anyway, in this subject I am very happy to be from totally other culture.
My Polish parents have partially sponsored my living costs when I was studying at the technical university,
and thanks to that I had the best, purely careless, filled with partying, joy and not caring about adult stuff time as an... adult.
And somehow it did not "collide" with my switch to "self-sufficiency" when this ended.
I'm totally gonna "repay" this to my kid as long as he decides to continue education.

indeed, the pilots federation has been the center of humanity for far too long and have lost their ability to think for the people and instead, only exist for themselves. Consolidating absolute power without answering to the people they were created to serve.
