State of the Game

You'll know it when you see it.
Does it look like this?

So... Thursday right?

If true, I've not taken enough Tramadol this morning... Time for another dose...
I remember Tramadol. Had some back injury years ago, Tramadol/Tramal was supposed to work as a pain killer, but with my bizarre metabolism/brain wiring/whatever it worked a bit dfferent.
It had absolutely no impact on intensity of pain,
but
I stopped experiencing pain as something unpleasant, hurting, traumatizing.

I felt the "pain" but I just couldn't care less about it, it was emotionally indifferent sensation.
Oh, and it generally switched me to a bit "amused with everything" mood.
So, a win, but not as expected.

The mods actually did that?

That's not a punishment... At least not for you! But sure is for them!

They did. And they had good reason to as well. I was clearly in a state where I should have thought twice about hitting "post reply" but didn't.

And the one thing that sticks with me isn't that my posts were moderated, but that some unlucky unpaid volunteer had to read through my every post while I was on probation.

Too all of those of you out there assigned to that: I apologize. I deserved it. You didn't.

Yeah, that's my general experience of Trammy too. It doesn't really stop or block my back pain (prolapsed disc) but instead reduces my concern about it... I've had spells when I've been on high doses for years...

The fun part is weaning yourself off of it again (which I've had to do several times). Thankfully I'm not strongly addicted to it. Smoking was harder to quit for me.

I liked Matt Smith... But then I'm broken.

Woudn't disagree. If I remember Chris Ecclestone only gave it one series*, and he wore a very nice leather jacket.

On matters sartorial...

* It seems that George Lazenbey's agent advised him to quit the Bond franshise as he'd got more work as a 'free-agent'. Poor George. Poorer (probably fired) agent. It's a shame as (hold on to your hats) I actually thought he was pretty good in the role, and I preferred him to 'Mr Raised Eyebrow'.

I get that too. I had an elderly neighbor with cancer end it with a .38. I understand why, but it still made me sad. Not so much that she did it as the fact that she had so many reasons to do it.

OK, we're getting serious here: How's about a cat?

That is the only benefit of living in a country where guns are not outlawed...
It's 'easier' to shoot yourself when life serves up a shoot hand...

Edit: you can tell I'm in favour of euthanasia...
