Are Robusta really low quality beans? Who decides? Is it just because they are more abundant and with a robust flavour and 'delicate palates' find their flavour too intense?why would you do that, where Australia grows so flavorful arabica beans in QLD (coffee plants even mostly originating from Kenia). Robusta are low quality coffee beans.
Thanks!See, @Susanna ? Much better to ask Filthymick420. Short, sweet and to the point.
So not sweet at all?In person it usually comes off as curt and precise![]()
I must admit I do prefer Robusta / Arabica blends (from a ground coffee / filter coffee machine POV).Are Robusta really low quality beans? Who decides? Is it just because they are more abundant and with a robust flavour and 'delicate palates' find their flavour too intense?
Perhaps Arabica beans are considered 'better' because they are harder to grow and produce a smaller crop?
Maybe up until 35. After that I've become impatient with people more frequently, though some people make it supremely easier to lose patience with than others for sure. I think I make it obvious who's who in that regardSo not sweet at all?
This is true. Very true.Maybe up until 35. After that I've become impatient with people more frequently, though some people make it supremely easier to lose patience with than others for sure. I think I make it obvious who's who in that regard
My bean to cup machine agrees with you.I must admit I do prefer Robusta / Arabica blends (from a ground coffee / filter coffee machine POV).

Its also cheaper too, ironically (in ground LIDL / ALDI freeze dried packets). My bean to cup machine agrees with you.
Incidentally, so do the Italians, allegedly.
(which makes a good joke from one of the UK coffee adverts - but only if you realise the 'prejudice' from some sources to coffe that isn't pure Arabica!)
