State of the Game

i think gay marriage would have a disagreement with that view of Texas. luckily the supreme court at the time slapped them down and forced them to play nice
Not going to touch that one as it isn't suitable for a thread like this. Except to note that you're talking about the same supreme court that has repeatedly protected the right of bigots like Fred Phelps' and his congregation of inbreds to harass perfectly innocent gay folk trying to grieve in peace at their funerals, so I'm not sure how much they're an authority to appeal to.

why you so keen on covering up perfection?

this is a little known secret but modesty is just a tool for controlling other people who either are or have something awesome by those who don't.
Well, in fairness, it also controls other things too.

I got off with a warning last time. The policeman was very understanding, and frankly amazed that I could move that fast with my zimmer-frame.

it's not who we're appealing to that matters.

it's that you have to. when you say your whole deal is minding your own business. and it ain't your business if it isn't hurting anyone else.

Do you guys habitually hang a rug over the Mona Lisa at the Louvre? :)
I'll be honest with you, mona lisa died a solid 500years ago. She can't get a flu anymore.
Also, she is in proper clothing.
And mona lisa doesn't have to go outside at all, temperature and humidity is specifically calibrated for her.

Finally, yes we do. They protect the painting with some special clothing when the louvre is closed, I believe.

e. ...and quite a lot angry...

I know what you mean - we actually had a Hooters a while back here.

The uniforms didn't fit the weather...
I was expecting to see that kind of clothing :
