As you know full well by now... I have nothing but contempt for the whole fiasco of Odyssey. have behaved abysmally throughout this sorry chapter of Elite. Personally, I don't believe that they have the inclination nor intent to turn it around such that they recover some of the good will that has been lost.
I have found the whole thing deeply upsetting and depressing. The game I have loved for years across its various iterations has been pulled out from underneath me and degenerated to a lousy shooter platform. I don't see where I go to from here with this game frankly. It the very least it needs to be put down for the next 6 months while fart about with the console release. We'll then see just how degraded the base game becomes as a consequence of that merger.
Ultimately though, unless I see something in Odyssey to make me want to plug my hotas back in...
