State of the Game

Well at least it's not seafood.
I love seafood.
Here. a photo of a prawn enjoying it's natural habitat.

You don't have that much luck that I just walk away ;)

In Mr Burns style... Excellent...

Honestly, i think a lot of people ARE actually totally oversensitive in these themes.

Actually, as I tried to explain, I just ignored him because of all the videos not because of anything in that video in particular. It's theme was just more or less a coincident.

The rest was just assumed that I'm sensitive because I'm German - you see how all this thin skinned reaction ends? In the end there is always anyone offended....

Peeps, this is a gaming forum I the internetz, get a grip and have fun :)

Here is a cat:

Agreed with the above!

Anyway.. here is a story to wettin' your whistles.

So 2 days ago I'm at ShinDez. I say to myself "screw it, lezz goo on a mega journey somewhere I've never been before"

Xibalba sector is calling my name.

So I head out, Via Barnard's Loop and Seagull Nebula. Stops at Hell Port as a 'camp' along the way.

Heads out from Hell port.

The immersion starts setting in... I'm now roughly 5000ly out from Hell Port. It's dark, scary, and lonely.

During this journey I stopped at a load of planets along the way to achieve "first footfall". Scanning a ton of random plants/bacterium to get a good amount of data to rank up a few levels.

Comes across a random White Dwarf about 500ly (ish) above the galactic plane as my route decided to use it as a boost.

"White Dwarf out here? Strange." I thought. Normally its Neutrons everywhere.

So I use the normal 'maneuver' to get my boost... aaaaaaand gets stuck in the arm 😤 this thing must of had a damn radius bigger than the milky way. No matter what I did, trying to line up and jump to next system in a Krait Phantom while tossing and turning like a washing machine... pfffff!

Safe to say I never made it to Xibalba. As I was now back at Hell Port 👍

Immersion broken. Journey to Xibalba broken. CMDR G4RY broken.

I did a roundabout journey years ago, Sol - Hawkings Gap - Beagle Point - Colonia - Formadine Rift - Sol. Never even had a single dent in my ship from the whole journey. This journey had zero White Dwarves.

Moral of the story.. I conquered a mega journey over a few months on one trip. Just to get beaten by a single star on the next trip.

Fly safe Cmdr's. The white dwarves are not worth it 😤🤪

Anyway, the above story is off topic.

Here is a random sentence that was typed out with my forehead.

Heavy water is not radioactive. In its pure form, it has a density about 11% greater than water, but is otherwise physically and chemically similar. Nevertheless, the various differences in deuterium-containing water (especially affecting the biological properties) are larger than in any other commonly occurring isotope-substituted compound because deuterium is unique among heavy stable isotopes in being twice as heavy as the lightest isotope. This difference increases the strength of water's hydrogen-oxygen bonds, and this in turn is enough to cause differences that are important to some biochemical reactions. The human body naturally contains deuterium equivalent to about five grams of heavy water, which is harmless. When a large fraction of water (> 50%) in higher organisms is replaced by heavy water, the result is cell dysfunction and death.

Agreed with the above!

Nobody likes white dwarves. They suffer from a lack of diversity....

Eek, that is on the cusp of very poor taste, but it'd be wrong not to press the post button...

My first circumnavigation attempt ended abruptly after about 150k ly and a small unintented nap in a sun too.

There I learned to driving and sleeping don't mix well :)

Hopes that the keyboard was not damaged in that process. Mentions keyboards are an endangered species.

Sends shivers down my spine, body's aching all
The time
Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go,
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Mama, oooh
I don't want to die,
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all.
