If you absolutely must eat salad, then there's Ranch for that. As a matter of fact, Ranch goes with everything.
And for sammiches, just use plain mayo. Hellman's, or you're a devil worshiper.
Thats a low blow for the cream.

That too. It's just that mayo is easier if you're in a hurry. But butter is better.
We were talking of uses for this strange "salad cream" or whatever it was.
Wants FD to create a slope at the edge of my main living room so all my rubbish can slide straight down and into a Celery, Salad Cream & Kale powered compactor.

My dear friend, you need a lesson in sandwiches.
For your good old French sandwich, you need a baguette (that's obvious), and butter. With ham, and pickles. If you're fancy, you might use a bit of cheese.
But, you can also make for example a roast chicken sandwich. In that case, I use a bit of ketchup (or any tomato based sauce) for the bread, lettuce, tomato, some cheese (greek feta usually), chicken (obviously), but also some mayonnaise. You can use a baguette for bread, or a different one ! I use naan bread, pita bread, or ciabatta myself.
Ahhhh.... must go do constructive things... thanks lovely people for making my morning work take a) twice as long and b) be twice as enjoyable!
