State of the Game

I hate those compromises. Every time I know that I am right. Why settle for the half-way deal when it's only 50% correct? People...
I know what you mean. If they would hire me, I would redesign the whole game in a weekend's worth of work in Unity. I would even include PowerPlay, interiors and VR AT launch.

Because I know so much better how their system works than they do themselves.

Its not really that- FD have made ED into some base state of energy and made it so uniform its entered heat death. It has no personality, no soul. In game where you have modes and opt in features it really should be able in places to get wild and crazy.
 
I find a certain amount of jelly to be acceptable when placed in the context of a good trifle, which should have far more cake, cream, and fruit in it than jelly, and also a suitably liberal dosing of sherry :)
Another vitally important point raised here... the conceptual framework of pudding ratios is an oft overlooked aspect of desert delectation. Agree with the above ratio summary, with the proviso that there should also be a custard layer, and sherry may in certain circumstances be substituted with port...

Addendum: this is one of the few situations where kale is not appropriate

Absolutely, there must be custard in great layers. It’s not a trifle without custard. :)

I’ve never tried one with port! But I am not putting my 40 year old tawny into a trifle… that is reserved for it’s one true purpose, as something to go with cheese :)

after all, port absolutely is the nectar of the gods! Small tipple every night without fail.... well.... I say small... 🙄
