I used the vanity cam as a drone (for scouting) in VR. Not possible in Odyssey.
Because they need to do positive PR with the community and that's the only area of the game they could pick where their members aren't wanting to pin them to a wall with a rusty breadknife through their nethers!
I suggested a sticky cam for on foot (a bit like the Eye in Thief 2). But with so much of the actual game just busted it flicks my berries that the camera seems important.
Indeed. They could also, you know, fix stuff like megaship piracy. A lot of people would simply cry with joy if they did that.
I mean
It does seem FD are forming some new strategy.
You'd honestly swear they weren't fixin it on purpose at this stage, I even highlighted it on stream about 20 times so far!
Its like: shall we make it play well and have good word of mouth, or make it look epic and keep the Ryvita levels of excitement?

It must be quite brutal at FD tuning into what is essentially Mega City One.
This is also typical and cynical of Frontier.. We have a major problem, let's spend money on a spin doctor and not on more devs to fix the game and the issues that are making them mad, no... let's just find a way to convince them to not be mad!!! FUMES
Unless they switch it off (and some have) you can hover over names and see where they are 'looking'.
