There is a certain dystopia to have a popularity contest for bug reporting. Like you need a marketing campaign to have your bugs acknowledged.

At the moment they have marketing campaigns for selling bugs - perhaps in the end its just all about transferring bugs from a to b and vice versa?

The best thing now is that you can filter all incarnations of Odyssey updates, 12 by now I guess. So how can I know where my previous bug reports went and if they automatically expire with the next update?

Just make sure that you open 3 new per version.

Mine have been "confirming" since release day.

Of all my years playing game, that's the worse bug reporting system I've seen. And I experienced mantis.
