State of the Game

I am looking forward to this moment, how bad can it be? I once had a nice conversation with an upset Scotsman and I haven't understand a word, but smiling is always very helpful
They were around 4 of them, and they kept telling us how mean we were for mocking their language. They called to our conscience, and we felt guilty. It was horrible.
Then they started to speak in welsh.
It was even worse.

I think I heard someone cry. Or perhaps it was a welsh cat.

DB should really think about selling Elite Dangerous to another game developer ( or having partial ownership etc - so DB can still retain some ED rights ) for the sake of the game's future . Given FD's track record so far, I don't think they ( FD )have the skills to offer a game such as Elite Dangerous, I'm afraid.

I'm sure the developers and other FD staff are very passionate, however, passion isn't enough.

While, Elite Dangerous is being developed by FD, the game will never fulfill it's true potential.

Add: FD should keep to games like Planet Coaster etc where they do shine and can produce good games. Elite just is a notch too far.
Maybe should offer it to Chris Roberts...

On the other hand, maybe not... 🥳🥳🥳

Maybe someone else?

I think Welsh is synonyms with klingon. A lot of spitting is involved anyway, when trying to talk.

What's the length limit for Twitter tags?

Not enough I fear....! ;)

The green part always sounds wrong, I know it is there, but there should be a 's' instead...

Yup, exactly what I have always thought. It just doesn't sound right when I say it with the green bit ;)

I mean, that's really the only thing that sound wrong ?
Can you even say that entire word in a single breath ?

Must have a fabulous sexlife if they can!

From my driving round the Welsh countryside, I got the impression that 'ARAF' means both 'STOP' and 'SLOW'. So the Welsh likely are never standing still. But then again, who is? Even as I lounge about, brownian motion persists.

:D S
Actually, expanding on this, I remember sitting at a stop (or was it slow?) sign around Cardiff somewhere, pondering on how the by some so praised Newtonian flight model of Frontier would have worked in the real world. I could be sitting still (or moving very slowly and even randomly in several directions at once) minding my own business, when suddenly my frame of reference switched from Earth to the Moon and off I would go...

I call it a strong deficit in using vocals. Consonants are something they really mastered on the other hand.

It was rough at times in Poland. They had to eat their vowels.

Why are we always the guinea pig for sociological experiments ?
Wait, don't answer that.
