State of the Game

I hope not fried
Have you lived?

Of course FRIED, as well as air fryed. Mostly grilled, roasted, or air fryed, but occasionally DEEP FRIED, too. =P Not often, as we care about health in this house.

You folks strike me as culinary greenhorns. Have any of you ever eaten anything NOT wrapped in bacon, slathered with cheese made from bacteria that eats.... the milk... stolen from the teats of mother cows? ROFL

Veggie stuff is lovely, I just hate kale and sprouts. Everything else is great.

Vegan vs Meateater war in... 3... 2... 1...

I think we have established that only monsters who are worse thane me pineapple on pizza types would force anyone to eat kale.
Kale is great although I did laugh when the slugs destroy a bed full on our neighbours allotment.

For me its broad beans that can do one.
They are picky little plants that need a disproportionate level of care and protection, I even had to draft in members of my ladybird army from the "battle of the beans" taking place on the runners to help.

In the end you get a handful of blackfly encrusted, bland ovals of disappointment.

i'm angry at spinach. when cooked it gets all stinky and loses structural integrity. I dont take kindly to stinky food.
No idea what you mean. Ive been eating spinach since long before I became vegan, back when I used to love meats so much that I spent years professionally photographing it. Its delicious, especially if you know how to cook it.....

Perhaps some people dont know how to cook veggies.

Or some people just - I'm just slightly speculating here - might have another taste?

Edit: Darn @Erei

just say no to cooked cabbage, Kimchi, brussel sprouts, and heavy garlic use.
Kimchi is nasty, usually. Cabbage? what? You eat cabbage with everything, vegan or carnivore foods. Heavy garlic use? Are you criticizing garlic use??

I feel like some of you have 6 year old palates. Did you stop developing your palate at age 6?

so you're white knighting veggies? does the application of heat have to follow a special process to not cause spinach to look like stringy rotten plants?
