Just in case there's any doubt, I'll just say it. I do partake in the occasional kale joke but that's mostly because of kale's meme value and I hope my dear
@Boomtrooper never saw it any other way. I don't actually mind kale, although I don't rate it either. There are so many objectively (the object being me) better greens around that I find plenty of better options all the time without getting bored. And I certainly hope I have never crossed the crass/childish/offensive line. But I have to side with
@Milkman76 and
@Raliel in that, well, imho, yes, it
has been crossed.
Regarding the meat thing, while not a vegan, I try and reduce as much as I can. I don't have the willpower to undertake the effort to cut it all completely, particulartly with still 3 kids to feed, but fair play to those who do. That's a change we need at a planetary scale, so whoever is making the effort, thus reinforcing the market for the food industry to develop the alternatives and make them as affordable as possible is doing an important job. Technically, meat isn't that big a deal for me, but dairy/eggs I'd really have a hard time cutting off/replacing. And unfortunately, dairy is as bad if not worse from a carbon cost point-of-view, so like it or not, that's likely where I'm heading at some point in the future... Fair f*$%s to the vegans, they're leading the way.
Anyhow. I'll leave it at that on the topic and return to the dumb.
Rock and Stone.
